Thanks Doug and Merville for planning and organizing such a great event and to everyone who came out to make it a success. We 13 vehicles and over 20 people turnout. After our drive, we had a very nice lunch at the Beacon Landing Restaurant on the Sidney Restaurant.

February 10, 2013 Tech Session
Sunday, 10 February 2013, we had a good turnout for a great Tech session. We all had an opportunity to see the differences between several Mini/MINI models and years. While up on the hoist it was observed that Terry’s car had his automatic transmission cable touching the exhaust pipe. Richard’s immediate action that included adding a protective sleeve, drilling, and installing a new mounting screw soon took care of that (Thanks Richard). Minor concerns were noted on other vehicles that would take much more time to correct. Also, the differences between dealer installed JCW kits were observed. Afterwards, we had an interesting brunch at the Birds of Paradise that included cold Eggs Benedict, repeated requests for undelivered meals and delivery of meals that were not ordered. The issue of no heat was overcome by keeping our coats on and great stories. Thanks to Linda and Merville for the photos below
