It was a grand day for a drive with a good number of members taking part in this
excellent tour. At 10am, we departed from the Tim Hortons on McCallum Road and
drove the Malahat taking the Bamberton Road right exit off the highway onto a nice
side road. After an excellent twenty-minute drive on secondary roads, we reached
our Coventry Workshop destination. Karen and Cam were gracious hosts opening up
the shop for all to see the fantastic woodwork and fabrication they do. After the in-depth
tour, we headed to the Cobblestone Pub in Cobble Hill. All enjoyed a very
tasty meal served by friendly staff. The drive for those of us returning to Victoria was
easy with moderate traffic. As you can see by the pictures, all enjoyed themselves
and are looking forward to our next outing.
