Next Event: Brits on the Beach
12 July 2015 (Sunday) Brits On The Beach in Ladysmith
– The Mini/MINI is the featured car for his year and I hope we will have a great turn out. It is held at Transfer Beach on the right hand side as you enter into Ladysmith (there are signs). We will be departing from Time Horton’s off Millstream Ave (same area as Best Buy/Future Shop) at 8:15 am-ish. It takes about 70 minutes to get there. It is recommended that you bring you own chairs, possibly sun shade and a picnic to enjoy. If you are planning to buy food at the concession stand, do it prior to 11:15 am or be prepared for very long waits in the queue.During the day, we can plan something to do when we get back. I got a few pictures from Doug, Dana and Lloyd from the track events (see below). If anyone has pictures they would like to post on the website let me know or if someone has a write up or short story from the event that would be awesome.
There are some great video’s posted on the mini meet under “PHOTOS” on the Mini Meet West website at

Pre-mini meet West
With only one more sleep until Mini Meet West 2015 kicks off, what better way for Mini/MINI enthusiasts to share their love of our favourite little car than to have a short drive. A total of 18 vehicles, a joint Canadian & American convoy sent out from downtown towards Cattle Point… it was an amazing site… a complete line of eighteen minis with not a single interruption. Whoop! Plenty of smiles, waves and honks greeting those along Dallas road as we passed. After an extended stop at the point (How do you get mini people to stop gabbing?) the group once again hit the roads, a final destination of Matticks Farm greeted the drivers and passengers. A big thanks to Doug for the route, VicMinis members for attending and our cousins from south of the border for a fun morning. We will see some of you tomorrow in Abbotsford and the rest of you when we get back 😉
Cheers,
Andrew
